Tell us about yourself.
"I am a mom to three wonderful daughters – ages 5, 8 and 11. They keep me on my toes. I have an adoring husband who is also into computers and keeps mine running smooth and fast. I love watching the beauty of nature.. whether it be a smile on my child’s face or the swaying grace of a blooming tree. Being able to scrapbook is a great release for my feelings of gratitude and happiness and a great way to keep myself reminded about these wonderful moments as they quickly pass in schedules of a busy household."

"Sweet Shoppe Designs 95% of the time. The rest of the time I’m surfing at Rhapsody as I am a HUGE music junkie."
What is your favorite piece of technology and why?
"I’m a big tech toy fanatic! I’d have to say it’s a toss up between my Macbook Pro which I LOVE and my new LG Dare. I’m so impressed with the GPS navigation and think it’s tons of fun to play with."

Since our Blog is about celebrating “Everyday Life” Robin Carlton , owner of Sweet Shoppe Designs shares a layout and a quick paragraph telling us about one of her favorite "Everyday Celebrations" and what made it so special.
"My little guy is quite the personality and it seems he goes in phases where he is really excited about various things. After we saw Kung Fu Panda, he ran around the house with his hands in karate chop position. Another of his phases was all about robots and it’s layouts like this one that make me remember all these silly and fun phases he’s gone through as a little guy. Just looking at him hugging this gigantic robot brings back all the memories of him walking around with L shaped arms saying “me Ro-bot! me Ro-bot!”. "

How long have you been scrapbooking?
"I started paper scrapping in 2003 and discovered digital scrapbooking in the summer of 2005. Once I got started in digital – I never looked back. The ease of creating on the computer without the mess is so much better for me with three sets of curious little hands around all the time."
What is your creative style?
"I would say that I am whimsical and colorful at heart. I don’t take myself too seriously and I LOVE bright and fun colors. Fall is my least favorite season of the year because browns and warm colors are super hard for me to create with. Give me punchy pinks and lime green and I am a happy girl!"

"Sweet Shoppe Designs has an incredible team of 22 designers and more than 30 creative team members who inspire the digital scrapbooking community with scrumptious jam packed kits, incredible digital layouts and easy to accomplish hybrid projects. We have more than a dozen regular challenges, a blog with daily features and lots, lots more. There is always something going on at SSD."

"My name is Robin Carlton and I’m a stay at home mom to 3 kids. Katie(8), Emily(5) and Andy(3). I’ve been married for almost 10 years and family is a huge part of my life. I graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a BA in Art and have been digital scrapbooking since August of 2005. My true love is digital design which I have been doing for the last 3 years. I’m the owner of and a designer at Sweet Shoppe Designs which is without a doubt my home on the internet."
